Bohner & Koehle Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH Stops Operation
Remaining Operations and Personnel
Brought Into NCMaschinen,
A subsidiary of Burkhart & Weber
For Immediate Release.
July 3, 1996.
Reutlingen, Germany - As of July 1, 1997, Burkhart
& Weber Holding has announced it will not do business through
their division Bohner & Koehle Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH. The
closing of this company marks the official end of a market
presence for the Bokö name as an operating concern. Burkhart
& Weber will continue to market the unique line of Bokö six
(6) axis universal milling machines through their existing
marketing channels. They currently operate a one man office in
the Chicago area for providing marketing, sales and service
support to their North American continent customers. Bokö
Services Group, Inc. out of Rockford, Illinois continues to
provide parts and service support for the existing customer base
and has maintained a relationship with Burkhart & Weber for
parts and technical support. While this is an unfortunate turn of
events for the Bokö machine line, Mr. Jon Olson, President of
Bokö Services Group has renewed Bokö's commitment to the
present customer base and "assures all customers... past,
present and future that Bokö Services Group will move forward
and offer service second to none."
