Service

Bokö maintains a staff of factory trained service technicians ready to assist our customers with technical help on the phone or on-site. We regularly provide preventative maintenance and realignment services to our customers for the entire range of Bokö products. We also service a growing number of other machine tools including but not limited to:

  • Bridgeport Series I & Series II
  • Droop & Rein
  • Landis
  • Duomat fine grinders
  • Norton Grinders
  • Dyna CNC Mills
  • Yang Milling Machines and Lathes
  • Wide variety of Standard Machining Centers (OKK, Comet, etc...)

Standard Service Rates

Standard hourly rate - $165.00 per hour
Minimum daily billing - 4 hours

Service can also be quoted on a project basis. contact our Service Department for a quotation.

Capabilities

General Mechanical Service
We can repair on-site spindle headstocks, table drive gearboxes, replace lead screw and nuts, and provide general on-site machine troubleshooting and repair.
Electrical and Electronic Troubleshooting
Our personnel are experienced machine tool service professionals. We have the equipment to find and repair a wide range of problems in the area of machine electrics and electronics including: servo-drive setup/tune-up, feedback device troubleshooting and repair/replacement, induced RF related "noise" location and elimination, incoming power related problems and general machine electrical component failure troubleshooting and replacement.
General Machine Rebuilding
If a machine requires a great deal of attention to bring it back to factory specifications, the machine is brought back to our Rockford, IL facility where we have the tools and equipment to make the repairs in a timely manner. We provide complete head rebuilds, table drive gearbox rebuilds along with complete electrical retrofits which replace the older style table drive systems with state of the art servo packages.
CNC Retrofitting
If your machine is an older CNC machine we can retrofit it with up date new CNC Control packages from Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, Mitsubishi and many more. If you own a copy mill we can retrofit your machine to increase copy milling accuracy! The Fidia CNC package provides "Lead Trace" copy milling which puts the stylus ahead of the cutter to eliminate overshoot and undercut while increasing cutting rates.
